Yes, I believe so. Although you could also interpret it to be a reaction, with, say, the starting material and reagent drawn but the product left blank.

When he refers to writing a question, what does he means by that? Is it the end of the chapter question?

I feel like a dunce whenever the time comes around for a dreaded organic chem test! My professor tries her best to pump us up but fails miserably! I will try the techniques mentioned here for my next test. Thank you!

I am actually taking organic chem course as of now, and i find it extremely confusing. I haven’t done well in the previous part one of the organic course, so taking this course seems challenging for me.
I’ve been reading the section up to what the professor has taught, and find that each time i’ve thought i’ve caught up to his lesson, i get confused by the new ones.
Your study stretagy about the loose leaf paper, and doing the question before looking at the answer seems like a great way to study. I am going to try it out!!
thanks a bunch for sharing.
