I’m just getting into the business, and I’m trying to better understand what I’m up against. I’ve always believed that deer urine is just “big business” and clever marketing. I believe deer actually communicate mainly though pheromones from glands such as preorbital, forehead, interdigital and the tarsal gland.
I received a patent based on the presentation of these glands at an anatomically correct position based on the locations of the glands on deer. I am using pure gland extracted directly from these four glands. Anyway, I found your article very direct and accurate. My results have been supportive to your article.

Hey, good story and realistic point of view. Odd question for you. Would some or all of the compounds found in attempted reproduction of this scent be safe for human consumption? (It’s really not what you think, but probably just as dumb) Let me know what you think, or send and email and I’d gladly share my idea.
